About
QuickCampus is a free classifieds website designed for college students. It was
formed by three engineering undergrads from San Antonio College as a solution to combat
high bookstore prices and internet networks that charge commission fees. The website's design
also attempts to eliminate the cost of shipping by focusing on the local need of textbooks
rather than a national need.
In fall 2008, QuickCampus officially launched at multiple campuses within San Antonio, TX.
Expansion plans are already in the works.
Operations
QuickCampus does not charge commission fees nor require surcharges of any type. The operations have been out of pocket and are expected to be supplemented through advertisements. Any income generated is used to cover hosting fees and expansion to other campuses. QuickCampus will never sell your email address and/or make it public.
